As part of its new broker strategy, Allianz Commercial has promoted Harriet Allen (pictured left) and Vicky Barrett (pictured right) to broker segment managers in the UK.
The newly created posts within broker distribution management will see Allen and Barrett work collaboratively with regional and head office teams while leading the delivery of the insurer’s segmentation proposition.
According to Allianz’s announcement, Allen will be in charge of the broker partner segment; Barrett, the prime partner segment. They are expected to be key to delivering profitable growth across the two networks.
Allen came on board in 2015 and most recently served as distribution manger for Newcastle, while Barrett has been with the insurer since 2010 and contributed to the review of the network strategy and development of the new segmentation model in her capacity as distribution consultant.
“These new roles have been created as part of our strategic investment in our broker support and segment model, and I’m thrilled to be able to announce Harriet and Vicky as the inaugural title holders,” said chief distribution officer Nick Hobbs.
“They are pivotal to how we’ll take the strategy forward and are fantastically well placed to do just that. Our ambition is to build better partnerships right across these segments, and we’re off to an exciting start.”
