Allianz, for the second time, is supporting the Para Swimming World Championships as title sponsor.
The Manchester 2023 Allianz Para Swimming World Championships, which is taking place at the Manchester Aquatics Centre from July 31 to August 6, will be the 11th edition of the World Championships. The first time Allianz was the title sponsor for the event was at London 2019.
“We’re excited to be back as partner of the Para Swimming World Championships this year,” Carolyn Rich, head of brand marketing and social responsibility at Allianz Commercial, said in a release.
“Allianz has been supporting the Paralympic Movement since 2006, getting behind the athlete community – their dedication and preparation is just inspiring. We look forward to seeing great competitions, emotional moments, and some qualifications for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.”
World Para Swimming head Craig Nicholson commented that they are thrilled to have the insurer as their title partner again.
Nicholson noted: “Allianz has a long history of support to Para swimming and has also previously been the title sponsor of the European Championships in Dublin 2018.
“This is the biggest event in the sport before the Paralympic Games in Paris, and we cannot wait to see the world’s best in action at the Manchester Aquatics Centre.”
