Alan Boswell Group (ABG) has partnered with niche commercial insurer Peach to expand its bespoke scheme for complementary therapists.
This is the second scheme Alan Boswell has developed a scheme with Peach, following the insurer’s appointment in October 2024 to enhance and expand the Teacher’s Liability scheme. Since then, the scheme has seen growth and Alan Boswell aims to achieve similar results by appointing Peach to underwrite the Complementary Therapists scheme. It remains the exclusive insurance provider for members of the Association of Reflexologists and the International Federation of Aromatherapists. More than 2,800 policyholders currently hold public liability and treatment risk cover through the company.
Under the partnership, members of the Association of Reflexologists and the International Federation of Aromatherapists can access discounted rates, with cover also available to non-members.
“Our partnership with Peach gives us the flexibility and capacity to extend the scope of our covers and grow the scheme to meet members’ needs,” said Zoe Kerswill (pictured left), commercial broker at Alan Boswell.
Meanwhile, Ryan Bendelow (pictured right), director of commercial at Peach, noted he sees “enormous scope” to grow the Complementary Therapists scheme by adapting the company’s ability to write a range of therapies and treatment risks.
It’s the latest in a series of partnerships for Alan Boswell. In 2024, it partnered with G2M to bolster its property investment and management capabilities. Under that deal, Alan Boswell provides G2M with insurance cover for the latter’s portfolio. The company will also collaborate with G2M on risk and claims management.
Last year, Alan Boswell also acquired Priory Insurance Brokers, a commercial and personal lines insurance broker located in Wymondham.
This acquisition followed the company’s earlier purchase of The Insurance Centre, a broker located in Norwich. The Insurance Centre was integrated into Alan Boswell’s head office at Prospect House following the deal.
