Shropshire-based insurance broker 1st Choice Insurance has seen significant company growth over the last 12 months and, as a result, it has expanded its departments and welcomed new staff.
As 1st Choice Insurance nearly triples in size due to its growth plan, it has decided to apply a new management structure.
Due to the growth of its sales team, 1st Choice Insurance appointed new sales manager Mary Leigh to work with the sales coordinator to monitor the sales team's performance, ensure all members are fully trained, and maintain excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
Commenting on the appointment, 1st Choice Insurance marketing head Callum Watkins said: “Mary has completed her CII Certification, [has] been with the company for over a year, and has a great rapport with the sales team, so [she] seemed like a natural fit for a leadership role.”
Sam Jacob also joined 1st Choice Insurance as a business development manager and will work on the company's presence in the local business community by gaining clients and networking across Shrewsbury.
“We're all very excited at the prospect of expanding even further and are extremely grateful that despite the recent hardship of the pandemic, we have been in a position to continue hiring and providing jobs to people in the local area,” Watkins said.
