The online insurance broker Yoga has announced the appointment of Ageas to its exclusive panel of van insurers. In a follow-up to its addition of Ageas to its private car panel last year, the fully self-service broker is now offering Ageas van insurance to its customers.
Commenting on the move, James Littlewood, company director at Yoga Insurance, highlighted that Ageas “really understands” the brokerage’s vision and what it’s looking to deliver for its customers.
“Having worked together for the last six months through our private car panel,” he said, “we’ve been impressed by the way they are tuned into evolving customer needs, and their underwriting expertise supports our digital proposition which lets customers have insurance their way."
Adam Beckett, chief distribution officer at Ageas, noted that the insurer is proud to support the “new and innovative” proposition Yoga has brought to the market. With customers living increasingly busy lives, he said, it’s a real win to be able to manage their policies online when it suits them. He added that Ageas’ latest collaboration with Yoga is testament to its commitment to brokers trading in personal lines insurance.
"We’ve been clear that we’ve supercharged our focus on supporting brokers in the personal lines market,” he said, “particularly where products are electronically traded, and we’re doing just that with Yoga."
