Motor trade insurer Road Runner has launched a new online broker platform for its network of broking partners.
In a statement, the firm said that its new digital platform “not only allows broking partners access to vehicle management [services], but also [allows them to] to remove their admin burden and enable their clients to update vehicles in real time.”
The new platform provides registered brokers with an online vehicle management portal that clients can use to manage their own vehicles online, an online quote request system, the ability to bind quotes online, access to client quote and policy information, and a document portal.
“We’ve listened to our customers and are thrilled that we can make trading easier for Road Runner brokers,” said Jack Wright, divisional director of Road Runner. “Brokers already working with us were keen to register for their new online account in preparation for our launch, indicating their enthusiasm to take advantage of the new platform benefits. Our vehicle management portal is market-leading and an enhancement to this sector that’s long overdue.”
