Cheadle-based motor claims management specialist MSL has hired Alan Brown to serve as claims operations head.
Reporting to managing director Glen Eastwood, Brown will be in charge of enhancing the day-to-day operations of the claims business which handles the whole process from FNOL (first notice of loss) all the way to settlement.
“MSL is a fantastic business and, following recent growth, is poised to benefit from the raft of recent reforms in claims,” said Brown, who spent 11 years at Kindertons Accident Management before joining AIG in 2017 where he worked as credit hire manager and motor claims team manager.
“It has invested in new technology and expanded the range of services it offers clients, and I am seriously excited by the opportunity to work alongside Glen and the team to make MSL a leading claims and legal expenses player for the 2020s.”
Commenting on the appointment, Eastwood noted: “MSL, part of the Drive Further collective, is a family-owned business with a strong focus on customer service.
