SSP’s insurance distribution business is on a roll. Last month Keychoice partnered with
Plum Underwriting for
non-standard risks coverage; now Keychoice brokers get exclusive access to LV=‘s new specialist vehicle product.
Called “Highway KC Specialist Vehicle,” the mutual’s specialist insurance provides cover for the likes of classic cars, motorhomes, ex-military vehicles, and modified cars. SSP said the addition of LV=‘s niche insurance scheme to Keychoice’s product range means a new lucrative market for members.
“Everything we do is aimed at improving life for our members, so I’m delighted they can now benefit from the dedicated underwriting knowledge and expertise required for this specialist scheme business,” commented SSP distribution director Ron Atkinson.
Since 1994, Keychoice has been helping brokers grow and develop business through enhanced trading solutions. Its more than 500 independent broker members control in excess of £1.7 billion gross written premium.
“We are pleased to be delivering specialist vehicle cover through Keychoice, which enables us to reach out to 500 traditional high street brokers in one fell swoop,” said Michael Lawrence, personal lines director at LV=. “This partnership provides a single point of access for all brokers to address the insurance needs of vehicle enthusiasts which might otherwise have been overlooked.”
