Lotus Cars has announced the launch of a comprehensive insurance programme for its UK customers. The programme, implemented through car insurance provider Car Care Plan, will serve both new and used Lotus vehicle owners.
The insurance solution includes key features designed to maintain vehicle integrity and owner convenience. Notable among these is the exclusive access to the Lotus Approved Bodyshop Network where repairs are conducted by Lotus Trained Technicians. This is to ensure the use of genuine Lotus parts for all repairs, maintaining manufacturer warranty compliance and vehicle safety ratings.
“Lotus is a brand for the drivers, and we are fully committed to continually enhancing the ownership experience,” stated Conor Horne, commercial director of UK and Ireland at Lotus. “Our customers have been asking for tailored insurance solutions, and I am proud today to announce that we are able to offer this, and further strengthen their relationship to the brand.”
Policyholders will likewise receive an excess return voucher worth up to £250 in the event of an accident. Additionally, all repairs completed through the Lotus Approved Bodyshop Network will receive a lifetime repair guarantee certificate to provide long-term quality assurance for customers.
The programme provides customers with direct dealer communication channels during the claims process to facilitate efficient incident management and repair coordination. This feature enables direct interaction with Lotus in-house car repairmen with minimal vehicle downtime.
The insurance programme is available to all UK-based Lotus owners.
