Kingfisher Insurance, through its classic vehicle insurance brand Peter James Insurance, has entered an exclusive partnership with the Kettle Club to introduce a new insurance scheme specifically tailored to the club's members.
This move is a continuation of the firm's successful engagement with club-focused initiatives in 2023. The newly designed scheme, developed with inputs from club management and members, aims to enhance the enjoyment of Suzuki GT750 models.
It offers a range of benefits, including member-to-member cover for riding another club member's classic motorcycle with comprehensive insurance, free agreed value, free salvage retention, UK and European breakdown cover, as well as cover for helmets, leathers, legal expenses, tools, spare parts, and accessories. There's also a self-repair option included.
The Kettle Club, formally established in 1995 but with roots dating back to the 1980s, is dedicated to celebrating the Suzuki GT 750 model in the UK. The club has expanded over the years, offering members activities such as ride-outs, rallies, and events, along with a quarterly magazine and a website.
“Peter James has been at the heart of the historic motorcycle movement throughout our history, so it is fantastic to be able to partner with the Kettle Club. We have worked closely with the club to create an insurance product that meets their club member’s needs and protects these iconic Japanese bikes for future enjoyment,” Peter James Insurance partnerships director Dave Youngs said.
“We’re excited to launch Kettle Club Insurance with Peter James. The benefits it includes brings more value to our club membership and supports our aim of the continued enjoyment of the GT 750s,” The Kettle Club chairman David Hewitson said.
