Kingfisher Insurance’s Private Client division, previously known as Classic Insurance Services, has announced its sponsorship of the 2025 Generations Rally in partnership with Rally the Globe (RtG).

The rally, scheduled from 28th to 30th March 2025, is specifically designed to engage crews from different generations, aiming to introduce historic motorsport to a younger audience. The event will commence each day in Harrogate, covering routes through the Vale of York and the Yorkshire Dales.

Kingfisher Insurance’s Private Client team specialises in providing insurance cover for vehicle collections, ranging from individual high-value cars to extensive, globally recognised collections, as well as high-value homes and property portfolios.

Kingfisher said that many of its clients choose to actively enjoy their vehicles while also preserving them, and the continued sponsorship of the Generations Rally reflects the company’s commitment to protecting these unique automotive assets for future generations.

Mark Appleton, COO and clerk of the course at Rally the Globe, remarked on the partnership, highlighting the shared values between the two organisations. The collaboration aligns with their mutual goal of preserving and promoting vintage and classic cars, while delivering professional services with a personal touch.

Tammy Hickey, head of Kingfisher Private Client, expressed the division’s enthusiasm for supporting the rally once again.

She also noted the shared passion among vehicle owners and their families, emphasising Kingfisher’s commitment to protecting and enhancing the enjoyment of these vehicles, which aligns with the values of the Generations Rally team and participants.

Back in July, Kingfisher Insurance also announced an exclusive partnership between its classic vehicle insurance brand, Peter James Insurance, and the Ariel Owners Motorcycle Club. The partnership aims to provide new insurance tailored to club members.

The scheme with Kingfisher has been designed with the help of club management and members, with policy benefits to support the enjoyment of Ariel motorcycles.
