Kingfisher Insurance has joined forces with The BMW Club to offer an exclusive insurance scheme tailored to BMW motorcycle owners. This initiative, launched through Kingfisher’s Peter James Insurance division, provides a comprehensive package designed to support the needs of club members and their vehicles, from vintage models to modern motorcycles.

A news release noted that the scheme includes a wide range of features, such as comprehensive coverage for riding other members’ motorcycles, agreed value policies, salvage retention, and multi-bike insurance. It also extends protection to tools, spare parts, helmets, and leathers, while offering breakdown coverage across the UK and EU. Members benefit from legal expenses coverage, limited mileage discounts, and a self-repair option.

Founded in 1951, The BMW Club is a prominent organization for BMW motorcycle enthusiasts in the United Kingdom. It fosters a sense of community through events, technical advice, and a monthly publication for its members.

“The team at Peter James Insurance are thrilled to be working with The BMW Club. From the first motorcycles produced in the 1920’s through to the newer vehicles, we have worked closely with the club and its members to create an insurance scheme that suits their needs and protects the bikes from this iconic brand,” said Dave Youngs, partnerships director at Peter James Insurance.

“We are excited to launch this new scheme with Peter James Insurance. Their expert team have collaborated with us to ensure it includes a range of features that supports our club activities and enable our members to derive more value from club membership and club life,” said Judy Lepley, President of The BMW Club.

Kingfisher Insurance, part of the NSM Insurance Group, specialises in tailored insurance solutions for sectors such as motor trade, private clients, classic vehicles, motorsport, and non-standard homes.
