Managing general agent Direct Commercial Limited (DCL) has hired Joe Hantson as deputy chief executive.
“I believe Joe will be an outstanding addition to the Direct Commercial team,” DCL CEO Phil Cunningham said in a release. “He has an exceptional track record within the commercial motor insurance industry and will be a real asset to us.
“I am delighted that we have been able to bring someone of Joe’s calibre to the board to further strengthen my executive team. Joe joins at a key time for the group as we push on with our ambitious growth plans.”
Hantson is making the switch from Amwins Global Risks where he spent 17 years and most recently served as UK broking head.
“DCL are on a hugely exciting journey, and I am delighted to be joining them to be part of their dynamic leadership team, as they continue to excel in their field and be at the forefront when it comes to change and innovation in the motor fleet insurance world,” commented Hantson.
