Autonet Insurance Services has appointed senior executives from
Swinton and LV= to newly created roles meant to lead diversification and growth.
Joining the digitally focused broker as the director of underwriting is Scott Greenhill, who will work closely with insurers to develop new affinity propositions. He will also expand Autonet’s products through acquisitions of brokers or books of businesses.
Murphy joins from Swinton, where he worked for 28 years, most recently as head of insurer development. He was also responsible for the firm’s commercial panel proposition.
Greenhill, meanwhile, is coming from LV=, where he spent a decade of his 28 years in the industry. He was previously the head of personal lines underwriting at LV= Broker.
“I’ve known Scott and Steve for several years and they are true leaders in their fields,” said Autonet managing director Ian Donaldson.
Murphy said Donaldson’s growth ambitions and business vision made the move to Autonet “very enticing.”
“The business’s commitment to grow its customer base through acquisition and diversification makes this a really exciting time to be joining,” he said.
