Commercial motor portfolio underwriter Heidi Shepherd (pictured) is moving up to the position of portfolio manager at Allianz Insurance Plc.
Shepherd, who came onboard the UK operations of Allianz in 2014 via the commercial insurance graduate scheme, will now be in charge of the profitable growth of the insurer’s digital motor products. These span complete mini fleet, taxi, and truck offerings.
“We’re really happy to promote Heidi to this position,” commented commercial motor head Gerry Ross. “She has a wide range of underwriting experience and has gained a thorough understanding of our business and its wider strategy through her role as an EA.
