The private car insurers panel of Doncaster-based online broker Yoga Insurance now includes motor insurer Ageas UK.
“Ageas’s reputation for supporting brokers and their customers in personal lines insurance meant we just had to have them on our panel,” said Yoga Insurance associate director James Littlewood. “We’re delighted to be able to offer their car insurance to our customers going forward.”
To join the panel, Ageas formed a relationship with software house Ignite.
Lifting the lid on the tie-up, Ignite business development head Christian Wright noted: “Ignite is building a wide panel of motor insurers, and this new IHP integration makes Ageas a major partner for Ignite and Yoga.
“We’ve managed to achieve this project in a matter of months, thanks to the quality of requirements supplied by Ageas and the expertise and good-spirited collaboration of the respective teams.”
Ageas UK chief distribution officer Adam Beckett, meanwhile, pointed to what makes the Yoga Insurance partnership work.
“Our entire purpose as an organisation is to understand people and simplify insurance, so working with Yoga Insurance is the perfect fit,” declared Beckett. “The company is tuned in to evolving consumer needs and has created a digital proposition which lets customers have insurance their way, on their own terms.
“2022 has been a year of sharp focus on personal lines at Ageas, and this latest deal with Yoga Insurance is testament to our offering for personal lines brokers, particularly those who are trading products electronically.”
