The Excellence in Claims (EiC) programme is celebrating its 10 year anniversary since the initiative was accredited by the Chartered Institute of Insurance in 2007.
7,300 Allianz employees have taken the opportunity to devolop their skills through the EiC programme which represents a total of 50,000 hours of study and training. The main objective of the EiC programme remains the same as it did 10 years ago- to provide a comprehensive induction and training programme for members of the Allianz Claims team irrespective of their position or experience.
Allianz’s chief claims officer Graham Gibson said:
“Working in an industry that is constantly evolving means it’s essential to keep up with the pace of change through developing the relevant skills and knowledge. We will continue to invest in the personal and professional development of our employees. Over the past ten years the programme has been very well received and the high volume of testimonials are testament to its success”.
A member of the Claims leadership team at Allianz, head of operations Jeremy Trott said:
“I am a huge supporter of the EiC programme in provinding excellence to our customers and employees alike. After completing some of the modules myself, I would encourage and recommend people of all levels wanting to improve and enhance their technical claims knowledge”.
