Gallagher Re is reorganizing its France, Belgium, and Luxembourg (France BeLux) operations, announcing new leadership and a series of team additions aimed at aligning its local capabilities with its European business strategy.
Effective June 2025, Emmanuel Dubreuil will take on the role of chairman for the France BeLux region. He will focus on client strategic advisory and business development, supporting the application of the firm's global service offerings within the local market.
Joining Dubreuil in July, Nicolas Rincé will serve as directeur général, managing daily operations and leading client-facing teams.
Both executives will collaborate closely with Thierry Myara, who continues in his role as president of France BeLux. The trio will be responsible for executing the company’s regional strategy and maintaining client relationships. They report directly to Ditte Deschars, chair of Gallagher Re's operations in EMEA.
Alongside the leadership transition, nine professionals have been added to Gallagher Re’s broking and analytics teams.
The new team members – Mathieu Loisel, Julie Gigleux, Julien Mattei, Zouhir Driouache, Oscar Allitt, Thomas Meerman, Quentin Emery, and Arnaud Boulard – joined the France BeLux operations earlier in 2025.
The Brussels office also welcomed Nicolas Daxhelet in April, under the supervision of Belgium Branch Head Philippe de Longueville.
Commenting on the appointments, Hamish Dowlen, managing director and head of EMEA at Gallagher Re, said that Dubreuil and Rincé bring varied experience across the reinsurance and insurance sectors.
Dubreuil has previously held senior positions as a broker and consultant, as well as with a French ceding company. Rincé has worked across the insurance industry with a focus on financial optimization, risk management, and transformation services.
Myara stated that the firm’s operational focus continues to center on delivering technical and strategic support in an evolving risk environment. He said that the addition of the new executives and team members is consistent with the firm's ongoing efforts to address market complexity and client demand across the three-country region.
Gallagher Re operates globally across reinsurance broking, advisory services, and risk transfer solutions, with a client base that includes international insurers and public sector entities.
