Re/insurance MGA Rokstone has expanded its aviation team in the United States with the addition of three seasoned professionals.
The new members joining the team include Carson Lyons, who brings a 25-year background in aviation insurance and a 23-year stint at AIG. He is joined by Jeffrey Tippins and Chris Latta, who have 20 and 15 years of experience respectively.
Tippins, formerly of Starr and AIG, and Latta, previously with Lockton, Starr, and AIG, will commence their roles at Rokstone following the conclusion of their notice periods.
This move also enhances the company’s aviation underwriting capabilities, supported by the long-term stability of AA-rated Allianz Commercial. Rokstone and Aventum Group have facilitated the launch of a aviation insurance solution in the US market, featuring rapid quote and binding processes.
The three new members will join under the leadership of global head of aviation, Jordan Lanford, who arrived at the MGA in October 2023.
