Australasian giant Steadfast Group (Steadfast) has announced the merger of two of its largest brokerages. The broker’s media release said the integration of Network Insurance Group and Insurance House “is designed to expand their capabilities.”

The release said Andrew Broughton (main picture, above), the current CEO of Network Insurance Group, is taking on the CEO role for the combined organisation.

“We see the coming together of Insurance House with Network Insurance Group as the perfect union,” said Steadfast CEO, Robert Kelly.

60,000 clients

The release said the two firms have built “strong reputations for their client-centric focus and deep industry knowledge” serving about 60,000 clients.

“I am committed to building on the strong foundations of both Network Insurance Group and Insurance House to create a successful and thriving future for our clients, our people and our business,” said Broughton.

The release said the organisation is currently exploring a rebranding strategy.
