Insurance law firm Bell Gully has announced the appointment of two new senior associates, Ryan Ellis and Jill Gregory, as it strengthens its corporate and resource management teams.
Ellis returns to Bell Gully after an extended period working in the in-house legal teams at Woolworths/Progressive Enterprises and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm having also worked in the corporate team at a multinational law firm in London. He will join Bell Gully’s corporate team, which was ranked in the top band in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2018, and received the top tier ranking in The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2018.
Gregory joins the law firm’s resource management team after working as a senior associate at another major New Zealand law firm. She has worked on a number of projects, including a national public private partnership procurement. Currently, Gregory is co-chair of the Auckland branch of the Resource Management Law Association.
