Insurance Business New Zealand has finalised this year’s best brokers at the 2022 Insurance Business Awards New Zealand (IBANZ), thanks to an independent panel of judges composed of insurance leaders, who narrowed down the best of the best across three broker categories.
This year’s annual IBANZ teamed up with Duck Creek Technologies (DCT), which provides core system solutions to the property and casualty (P&C) and general insurance industry.
The independent awards program identified New Zealand’s most outstanding brokers over the past 12 months by asking individuals and companies to nominate themselves or their peers in three broker categories via its online portal. The Insurance Business Awards team then conducted research and gathered editorial insights to supplement and verify the material submitted in the nominations.
Afterwards, an independent panel of judges composed of insurance leaders across the country – appointed by Insurance Business – reviewed the submissions and allocated each nominee with a confidential and impartial score. After completing the judgment, the nominees with the highest scores in each category were conferred with excellence awards, while the one with the highest overall score in each category took home the big prize.
