AA Insurance has been recognised at the New Zealand Effie Awards 2018 in association with TVNZ.
The insurer’s Reason to Care campaign won a silver for Most Effective Integrated Campaign and a bronze for Short-Term Success.
AA Insurance head of marketing and distribution Richard Park said the recognition reflects the hard work the marketing team have been putting in with their agency, DDB.
“For us, the trick was to do something a little different to our other campaigns,” Park noted. “If you talk about something people care about you’ll have their attention, and that’s exactly what we did, mixing it up because people care about different things.
“Puppies, food and grandmas are our heroes, and the response has been incredible,” he added.
