Rosser Underwriting is an underwriting agency founded in 1996, and primarily supports non-corporate brokers operating in the New Zealand market. It offers a number of policies tailored to SMEs and not-for-profit organisations, including property insurance and a broad range of liability cover.
Rosser began life in Hamilton where its head office remains today, and its administration and processing centre is currently located in Waipukurau in Central Hawke’s Bay. Its team of underwriters provides Rosser branded insurance products to small businesses, all of which are tailored to contain a wide level of coverage, low excesses and good benefits.
Rosser’s product suite is underwritten by a number of global insurance industry players: Chubb, Ironshore Europe, Ironshore Bermuda and a number of underwriters at Lloyd’s. This capacity allows Rosser to source cover across a wide range of occupations and sectors, with limits of up to $15 million for any risks. Higher limits and non-standard risks are also considered.
