Born and raised in Airdrie, Alberta, Graeme Bencharski’s family has been in the insurance industry for 35 years, serving both the local community and all of Western Canada. For the past decade, Bencharski’s primary focus has been on driving the growth of the business and directing the brokerage to better accommodate clients’ needs.
“It’s extremely rewarding to be a leader in the industry and to be able to help our clients protect their families, businesses and financial well-being,” Bencharski says. “Alberta has experienced a lot of challenges over the past few years when it comes to catastrophic losses. It has been very fulfilling helping educate and guide our clients through these tough times of uncertainty and stress.”
Driven by the desire to disrupt an antiquated industry and find creative solutions for clients, Bencharski takes pride in the fact that his office has managed to grow and sustain positive retention numbers in the face of market challenges. “It was a collaborative effort and took everyone within our office working together to help guide our clients through a very interesting year in Alberta,” he says.
