As the Vice President for Commercial Insurance and Cyber Liability, Brian is responsible for educating, placing, presenting, and selling insurance across the country. Based out of Winnipeg, Brian regularly presents at industry and non-industry events as an active member of Gallagher's Canadian and global cyber practices.
Over the course of his seven years as a dedicated cyber specialist at Gallagher, Brian has assisted in the management of a wide variety of cyber risks ranging from ransomware attacks to complex social engineering scams. Our clients rely on Brian to understand their cyber risk exposures, inform them of appropriate coverage features, walk them through complex cyber risk scenarios, and arrange coverage for unique risk exposures using his vast network and expertise. With ample knowledge of carrier risk appetites and cyber underwriting requirements, Brian can provide pointed council to clients on the cyber risk controls needed to mitigate impeding risks and improve risk posture for coverage placement.Brian holds a CAIB (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) designation and is licensed across multiple provinces within Canada.
