Travel insurance provider SecuriGlobe is marking its 25th anniversary with a refreshed brand identity and a new slogan, “You first.”

The rebranding, which reflects the company’s continued focus on offering customer-centric insurance services, follows the recent acquisition of SecuriGlobe by insurance broker Navacord.

Announced in May, the partnership is expected to enhance SecuriGlobe’s proposition by providing access to additional resources and expertise, positioning the company to meet the growing demands of the travel insurance sector.

“This alliance strengthens SecuriGlobe’s offering and enables it to maintain a reliable, high-quality service,” SecuriGlobe, which has developed a network of more than 1,000 partners across Canada over the past two and a half decades, highlighted when the updated branding was announced.

“By joining forces, the two entities are poised to meet the growing needs of the travel insurance market, while remaining true to their promise of excellence.”

For Navacord, the swoop for SecuriGlobe meant a doubling of the size of its travel insurance book.

“As Navacord continues to broaden our reach across different niches and regions, the addition of SécuriGlobe positions us well for further geographic expansion and product diversification,” Navacord president and chief executive Shawn DeSantis previously noted.
