Online insurance comparison website InsureMyTrip has now launched in Canada. In a Press release, the company revealed that its recent expansion into Canada means that Canadians, as well as visitors to the country, can now access a wide range of travel insurance plans, for both domestic and international trips, via its website.
With the new InsureMyTrip website, travellers can compare and purchase different plans. Options include all-inclusive plans, emergency medical and trip cancellation plans, and Visitor to Canada (VTC) plans.
"We are thrilled to expand our services into Canada," said Suzanne Morrow, senior vice president at InsureMyTrip.
InsureMyTrip said it has a growing selection of Visitor to Canada (VTC) plans. These plans are designed to provide visitors with emergency medical coverage while in Canada.
InsureMyTrip has a team of travel insurance experts that is available to answer questions travellers may have and help them select the right plan. Additionally, the site also provides a library of online educational resources, intended to make it easier for travellers to understand the benefits of different plans and make better informed decisions.
InsureMyTrip is a long-standing member of the Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada (THIA). Its services are currently not available to Quebec residents.
