Trisura Guarantee Insurance has announced the launch of a new online electronic learning platform to meet the continuing education needs of insurance brokers.
The platform’s first program is a series of online learning courses, entitled Surety 101. It will be made available at no extra charge to registered insurance brokers.
“Trisura aims to equip brokers with the tools they need to help their business grow,” said Trisura vice-president of Strategic Initiatives Sandra Henkel. “Online education is a convenient and time-saving approach to help brokers fulfil their continuing education goals and requirements. We hope to be able to provide easy access to relevant and current technical broker training.”

According to a company release, Surety 101 has been accredited by provincial regulators in provinces that require brokers to receive yearly continuing education hours. Other online courses to be produced and offered by Trisura will also be similarly accredited.
