Ridge Canada is launching a new technology errors & omissions (E&O) insurance product, to serve as a “complementary” coverage to the managing general agent’s cyber offerings.
“Our goal was to create a complementary product to the Ridge Canada cyber portfolio, and I really believe we have achieved this,” said Ridge Canada senior vice president, technology professional liability Cindy Manek. “As our digital world continues to rapidly evolve, this product will help technology companies protect themselves from a range of damaging financial and cyber losses.”
Manek added that at its core, Ridge Canada is a “service-based organization that provides comprehensive guidance,” and that she looks forward to how the company’s mission advances further with the new tech E&O package.
“Ridge Canada is delighted for this next chapter of growth and diversification,” commented Ridge Canada president and CEO Greg Markell.
Markell noted that working with Manek to develop the product has been a pleasure, as she brings a “wealth of experience” in the professional liability space.
Earlier this month, Ridge Canada announced that its associate underwriter, Vanessa Abraham had been granted underwriting authority. A member of Ridge Canada since 2021, Abraham was previously an insurance broker associated with Hub International.
