The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) has added ClicAssure Inc., Driver Verified Inc., HM Custom Solutions Inc., Norima Consulting, and Quandri Technologies Inc. as new vendor members.

The five companies will now have access to CSIO’s Data Standards and technological solutions, which will facilitate seamless integration and enhance industry connectivity.

CSIO’s Data Standards are a set of programmable codes formatted to enable straightforward information exchange between insurers and brokers through APIs (application programming interface), real-time downloads, or batch data transfers.

Implementing the standards helps ensure clear and efficient communication across the industry. In line with CSIO’s multi-year strategic plan, the organization is dedicated to developing unambiguous Data Standards that eliminate misinterpretations and ensure uniformity in communication.

By becoming vendor members, the firms can participate in CSIO’s Working Groups and engage with industry leaders. These groups frequently collaborate to advance Data Standards and address common challenges faced by the broker channel.

Additionally, vendor members can utilize CSIO’s secure technological solutions to assist insurers and brokers in serving their clients more effectively.

Key offerings include the CSIOnet platform, which facilitates the exchange of eDocs and data between Canadian property and casualty insurers and brokers. Furthermore, CSIO’s My Proof of Insurance service allows for the secure digital delivery of documents, including auto insurance proof, to customers.

“I am pleased to welcome the new vendors to CSIO’s membership base,” commented Catherine Smola, president and chief executive of CSIO. "We look forward to working with these organizations to drive industry innovation as they apply CSIO Data Standards and solutions to their business operations.”
