Insurance software provider Duck Creek Technology has announced the appointment of Courtney Townsend as chief people officer.
In her new role, Townsend will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s overall human resources strategy. She will report to CEO Michael Jackowski and will work closely with Duck Creek’s executive committee. She will be based in Duck Creek’s Rosemont, IL, office once the company’s physical locations reopen.
Townsend has more than 15 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining Duck Creek, she served as chief human resources officer at Stats Perform, a sports technology company. She has also held key human resources positions at Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of software and professional information and services.
