The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) has revealed that CAA Insurance has obtained CSIO Certification for personal lines eDocs.
CSIO’s certification program endorses trusted, standards-based solutions. The certification promotes the use and implementation of interoperable applications, to ensure that the digital policy documents sent by insurers to brokers are delivered without issue.
“I congratulate CAA Insurance on the launch of their CSIO Certified eDocs solution,” said CSIO president and CEO Catherine Smola, who added that CAA Insurance joins a growing number of insurers that send millions of eDocs monthly to brokers.
“We are excited that our eDocs solution for personal lines is now live,” commented CAA Insurance vice-president of insurance Robin Joshua.
According to Joshua, CAA’s eDocs certification shows to the rest of the insurance industry that it follows best practices. The VP also added that the certification signals to CAA’s broker partners that the company is committed to offering them solutions to enhance workflow efficiencies.
Last year, CSIO granted Promutuel Insurance certification for sending personal lines eDocs.
