CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) is offering its members access to a virtual healthcare platform thanks to a new partnership with Maple.
The Maple platform allows users to virtually connect with a licensed general practitioner from their phone, tablet, or computer. Through this, users will be able to receive a diagnosis, prescriptions, and treatment for many common medical conditions anywhere and at any time.
Thanks to CAA SCO’s partnership with Maple, the former’s members can access the virtual service at a discounted price – or even for free – depending on their membership type. “Basic” and “A la Carte” members and their families receive unlimited general practitioner consults per year at a 20% discounted rate, while CAA Plus and “Corporate” members receive two free general practitioner consults per year. “Premier” members receive five free general practitioner consults per year.
"This new CAA membership benefit reinforces CAA's mission to keep our members safe," said CAA Club Group CEO Jay Woo. "Being a CAA member means having peace of mind wherever life takes you and we are so excited to add even more value to our members' day-to-day lives by partnering with Maple."
"We're proud to partner with CAA, an organization that shares our value of supporting Canadians, anytime, anywhere," said Maple co-founder and CEO Dr Brett Belchetz. "Using Maple, CAA members will be able to access high-quality virtual healthcare, whether they are close to home or travelling far from their regular medical care."
