APOLLO Insurance, the Canadian digital insurance provider, may be stealing headlines recently for forming a host of industry partnerships, but now it has brought in a leading name as it looks to further its expansion.

The company has announced that Mark Hickman will move into the role of chief revenue officer (CRO) and be responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic growth.

Since completing our Series A Financing round, we have been dedicated to unlocking APOLLO’s potential through strategic partnerships, the constant improvement of our proprietary tech platform, and rapidly expanding our suite of products. Mark will play a crucial role in building APOLLO as the ‘everything store’ for transactional insurance.”
Overall, Hickman boasts more than 25 years of experience. He has worked with a host of top technology companies, particularly software as a service firms. Among the companies he has held leadership roles at are: RightNow Technologies, Win Magic, Calligo and Tyler Technologies.
On the announcement of his arrival at APOLLO, he commented that now is a “transformational time” for the firm.
“I am eager to help build a different kind of insurance provider, one that is fuelled by technology, puts people first, and aims to modernize a paper-based industry,” he said. “I look forward to working with the team on bringing this vision to life.”
