Aon Reinsurance Solutions has announced that Sandra Örljung (pictured above) has joined its Nordic team as an account manager.

Örljung brings over 13 years of experience at Aon, where she held various positions within the commercial risk solutions division, most recently serving as a senior client coordinator.

Based in the Greater Stockholm Metropolitan Area, Örljung’s tenure at Aon includes roles as junior client coordinator, insurance administrator, and client coordinator. In her new position, she will focus on supporting reinsurance clients across the Nordic and Baltic regions.

David McCardie, head of facultative reinsurance for the Nordic and Baltic Region, noted Örljung’s extensive client experience.

“Sandra is another great addition to the Aon Reinsurance Solutions team and adds additional customer knowledge and client dedication. We are extremely happy Sandra has chosen to join our team and are all excited to get her started and introduce her to our clients,” McCardie said.

Örljung holds academic credentials in sociology from Mid Sweden University and leadership and organizational theory coursework. She has also completed studies in business insurance and legal overview at institutions such as IFU and Stockholm University.

Earlier this month, the global brokerage also announced the appointment of Brian Gillin as managing director for its cyber reinsurance solutions team.

Gillin, based in New York, brings over a decade of experience advising insurance clients on managing and transferring cyber and technology risks.

Gillin has spent more than 10 years with Aon in various roles, most recently serving as managing director and East Region leader. In his career at the firm, he has also held positions as senior vice president and team leader for the New York office.

In the same month, the group also named Magnus Roe as its global chief data and analytics officer, tasked with advancing the company’s capabilities in analytics and helping clients make data-informed decisions.
