Insurance Business has just announced this year’s top property insurance providers in Canada – those that have competently addressed the many needs of Canadians and their properties amid a booming housing market, environmental threats from climate change and extreme weather events, and inflationary pressures.
Insurance Business Canada (IBC) identified the best property insurance providers in the country by asking brokers to nominate their property insurers and MGAs across key areas: office, retail, industrial, warehouse, hotels and motels, multifamily property, care homes, student housing, shopping malls, and residential property. It also asked brokers which insurers they seek for additional coverage such as floods, fires, earthquakes, and hurricanes, as well as their top commercial and residential MGAs. The highest voted property insurance providers received the IBC 5-Star Property awards for 2022.
Among the winners is Ecclesiastical Insurance Office Plc Canada (Ecclesiastical), part of the Benefact Group, a charity-owned international family of financial services providers that give available profits to good causes.
