The online placement platform Insurance Noodle is expanding its reach, announcing the launch of its first-ever integrated property/casualty facility for small contracts.
The facility aims to bring together several leading carriers that insure contractors such as handymen, landscapers and installers through a single access point. Insurance Noodle CEO Ted Devine says the new facility will aid independent insurance agents working with these accounts and cut down on overall work time.
“For years, the insurance industry has defined a program around one market with limited scope,” says Devine. “Yet, as agents who serve small business owners every day know, no single insurance company offers the best solution for every account. That drove us to create our integrated contractors program, working with the best companies in the space.”
The new offering allows agents to consider general liability, commercial auto and workers' compensation coverage from a variety of carriers. Available endorsements include faulty workmanship and contractors miscellaneous tools and equipment.
Producers working with contractors such as residential remodelers, flooring installers. home inspectors and heating ventilation and air conditioning installation and repair are especially likely to find solutions.
“The integrated platform uniquely equips agents to obtain the best solution for each client from the offerings of all the participating carriers,” says Ralph Blust, President of Insurance Noodle. “Agents can immediately obtain solutions for a wide range of small carriers, like never before.”
Insurance Noodle's launch comes at a time when contractors represent one of the larger segments of the small business community, with many insurers crediting the sector for a large portion of their business.
