Commercial property insurer FM has named Laurel Rudnick (pictured above, left) and Danielle Harrison (pictured above, right) to new leadership roles, effective Jan. 1.
As part of the transition, Rudnick will take on the position of senior vice president and chief underwriting officer, while Harrison will serve as senior vice president and division manager for FM Affiliated, the company’s middle-market insurance division.
In her role as chief underwriting officer, Rudnick will oversee FM’s underwriting and reinsurance functions, reporting to Lyndon Broad, executive vice president of staff insurance operations. Rudnick most recently served as senior vice president and division manager for FM Affiliated.
Rudnick joined FM in 2006 as a field engineer in Los Angeles and has since held various positions, including account engineer, client service manager, and operations senior vice president in New York.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of California, Davis, and a master’s degree in engineering management from California State University, Northridge.
Broad noted that Rudnick’s experience and dedication would be integral to FM’s underwriting operations.
“With her deep knowledge of the industry and her unwavering commitment to our clients, Laurel will ensure we continue to provide an unmatched underwriting experience,” Broad said.
Harrison, as the new division manager for FM Affiliated, will lead a global team providing underwriting expertise and property loss control engineering through an international network of broker partners. She will report to Ziad Alex S. Tadmoury, executive vice president for EMEA, Asia Pacific, Canada, and Specialty Industries, as well as FM Affiliated.
Harrison joined FM in 2001 as an underwriter and has held various roles in client service and operations, including FM Affiliated area manager and operations senior vice president for Washington, D.C. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in insurance.
Tadmoury highlighted Harrison’s extensive experience in client service and operations, stating that her leadership would strengthen FM Affiliated’s middle-market business.
"Her proven track record and extensive experience in client service and operations make her the ideal leader to drive our middle-market business forward,” Tadmoury said.
