“RSA Canada is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity Canada on such an important initiative, as we believe that everyone has the right to a decent and affordable place to live,” said RSA president and CEO Martin Thompson. “This initiative supports RSA’s corporate responsibility strategy, which is focused on safety and protecting people every day, helping them live safer and more secure lives.”

“We’re pleased that our employees have this opportunity to continue to give back to our communities,” added Thompson. “Last year, our employees were on the ground helping our customers in Fort McMurray cope with the after-effects of the wildfires. And now, a year later, they have a chance to build new homes for The Carter Work Project in Edmonton, a host city that will be building the largest volume of homes and serving many more Canadian families.”

Joining RSA Canada in helping Habitat for Humanity is former US President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn. They will be visiting the country from July 09 to 14, where they will be focusing their humanitarian efforts in Edmonton, Alberta and in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
