Westland Insurance expands further in Ontario

Westland Insurance has expanded its presence in Ontario by acquiring MSP Insurance Corp., known as Mitchell Sandham Pastor Insurance Brokers, for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition is Westland’s third partnership in the province this year.

MSP Insurance, based in Mississauga, has been serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area since 1957. The property & casualty insurance brokerage is recognized for its team of skilled brokers who focus on delivering personalized service through comprehensive insurance guidance, policy maintenance, and claims assistance.

Westland president and chief executive Jamie Lyons (pictured) commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome MSP Insurance to the Westland team.

Recent acquisitions by Westland include F.A. Smith Insurance Service, Alberta Best Insurance, Excel Insurance Lloydminster, M. Butler Insurance, and Canadian Special Risks.
