Drayden Insurance, a division of McDougall Insurance Brokers, has announced that it has merged with C.J. Campbell Insurance of Calgary, Alberta. Drayden said the merger “represents a significant milestone” for its Alberta presence.
“C.J. Campbell is universally well-regarded in the Calgary area,” said Catherine Cake, president of Drayden Insurance. “Its dedication to its clients and the Calgary community are second to none, and Drayden could not be happier to be working with their team to elevate the experience of their clients.”
“The value and importance of people, service, and a great culture have been hallmarks of the Campbell family since founding C.J. Campbell Insurance in 1912,” said Curtis Beswick, president of C.J. Campbell. “Joining the McDougall family of companies aligns well with C.J. Campbell values, culture, and growth-oriented focus.”
“We are excited to welcome the team and clients of C.J. Campbell to the McDougall family,” said Ross McDougall, CEO of McDougall Insurance. “Calgary has always been a city that fits well within our capabilities and goals, and between C.J. Campbell and our Calgary office of MHK Insurance Inc., we believe we are extremely well-positioned to serve the city.”
The merger with C.J. Campbell is the latest in a string of Alberta acquisitions for McDougall. The company recently announced the acquisition of Edmonton-based De Luca Insurance Services. In February, McDougall announced the acquisition of MHK Insurance.
In January, McDougall’s Drayden Insurance subsidiary acquired Darson Insurance Services, a firm based in Stony Plain, Alberta.
