Insurance brokerage HUB International has announced its acquisition of Felton et Associes Assurances Inc.
Based in Brossard, Quebec, Felton et Associes offers both commercial and personal insurance. The company has developed expertise in several sectors, including construction, real estate, and architecture and engineering.
Under the deal, financial terms of which were not disclosed, Maxime Felton, president of Felton et Associes, and his team will integrate with HUB Quebec.
Earlier this year, HUB swooped for 2837932 Ontario Inc. and certain assets from 2197747 Alberta Ltd.
The group also recently appointed Ilana Shulman as chief compliance officer. Shulman’s role will focus on enhancing the management and development of HUB’s global compliance initiatives.
In her new position, Shulman will collaborate closely with HUB’s legal department to ensure the company’s compliance practices meet all relevant federal regulations and corporate guidelines.

Shulman will also spearhead a newly established centralized licensing team and provide support for various programs, including enterprise risk management and environmental, social, and governance.
