BrokerLink has expanded its footprint in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with the acquisition of two insurance brokerages: William C. Aitken Insurance Limited and Louis Meier Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Established in 1946, William C. Aitken Insurance offers personalized home, auto, and specialty commercial insurance services, including non-standard commercial property and marine liabilities.

Tom Watson, president of William C. Aitken Insurance, commented: “Finding the right insurance coverage to protect our customers from financial risk has always been our top priority. We look forward to joining the BrokerLink team where we’ll continue going above and beyond for our customers and community members.”

Louis Meier Insurance, founded in 1963, is dedicated to understanding and addressing unique customer needs. The team boasts over a century of combined experience.

“We plan to continue building relationships in the Greater Toronto Area, so we’re excited to welcome our new team members and customers from William C. Aitken Insurance and Louis Meier Insurance to BrokerLink,” said Danny Da Costa, BrokerLink’s newly appointed vice president of Ontario and digital distribution.

“We admire these brokerages’ dedication to exceptional customer service, and their passion for supporting their communities fits well with our values.”

In addition to William C. Aitken Insurance and Louis Meier Insurance, eight other brokerages have joined BrokerLink this year. These include The Standard, MKMK Group, Direct-Line Insurance, Hanbidge and Bowman, Powell Insurance Brokers, Bastow Insurance, Law Insurance Brokers, and a portion of Halpenny Insurance Brokers’ business.
