Insurance broker NFP has formed an exclusive strategic partnership with Piiq Risk Partners, a provider of insurance and risk management solutions for the aerospace and aviation industries.
Both companies will work closely with NFP’s Complex Risk Solutions (CRS) Group in Canada to support businesses in the aerospace and aviation sectors – sectors that face some of the most complex and unique risks in the world and have a risk landscape that is constantly in flux due to technological enhancements, NFP said.
NFP’s CRS Group will provide domestic account servicing in Canada to Piiq’s major clients.
“Clients in the global aviation and aerospace sectors need the local support of a team of specialists who are constantly creating new solutions for rapidly changing needs,” said NFP CRS Group Canada managing director Evan Garner.
“Piiq provides NFP in Canada a strategic entre into the global aviation and aerospace markets with specific clients and NFP’s Complex Risk Solutions Group provides Piiq with an on-the-ground exclusive presence in Canada,” added NFP Canada president John Haas.
“We’re excited to establish this exclusive partnership with NFP in Canada,” commented Piiq Risk Partners senior partner Neil Maynard. “Together we can offer global clients operating in Canada the capabilities and expertise of two experienced and client-centric teams that are both driven to challenge the status quo.”
With offices in London and the US, Piiq Risk Partners is currently part of BGC Partners, but is set to join The Ardonagh Group as part of an acquisition announced in May 2021, which is subject to regulatory approval.
