After acquiring brokerages in California and Michigan on Friday, Hub International gobbled up another brokerage this morning.
Hub International Insurance Services California Operations acquired the assets of GNW-Evergreen Insurance Services today, a Los Angeles, California-based full-service insurance brokerage firm.
“The acquisition of GNW-Evergreen represents Hub’s interest in further growth in the Los Angeles area and entertainment industry,” said Hub California president Kirk Christ. “Recognized as one of the top agencies in Los Angeles, we welcome their talented management team and staff to Hub and look forward to providing their customers with the resources of a top ten global brokerage firm.”
The GNW-Evergreen operations will form a new Hub office in Encino, California and Nashville, Tennessee. In connection with this acquisition, Andrew Forchelli, President & COO, will be joining Hub California as Senior Executive Vice President, reporting to Kirk Christ, President, Hub California.
Additionally, Paul S. Meshekow, Jeffrey Newman, Robert DiPaolo and Karen D. Oxman and Mike Newman, will all join Hub California as Executive Vice Presidents.
The East Division of Hub International Midwest Limited acquired the insurance agency business of certain member firms operating as Pinnacle Insurance Partners, a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based full-service insurance brokerage firm; while the California Operations (Hub California) acquired the assets of Seeger Benefits & Insurance Services, a Thousand Oaks, California-based insurance brokerage firm (To see story, click here.).
