CRU Group has promoted Jim Back to director of the company’s environmental division.
Back joined CRU Group in 2017, and has 17 years of experience in the insurance industry. Of those, 13 were spent in the environmental claims management business. He is also certified to teach and manage an OSHA HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) course and will use his certification to provide CRU Group’s team with a 40-hour HAZWOPER OSHA Certification course monthly.
“We are all very excited to be putting a first-class environmental claims team in place while building this brand new division in CRU,” said Back in a statement. “Everyone coming to the classes each month are so excited to get rolling, you can truly feel the energy.”
“Planning for these types of events is so important,” said CRU Group president Kyle Winston. “Jim’s past experience, along with the training that he is doing now, allows us to have the key elements we need to handle all kinds of environmental events with properly trained staff. We are thrilled to have Jim assume an even more significant role in the company and look forward to seeing what he can do.”
