iA Financial Group has launched an individual insurance online claims service that allows users to not only file claims, but to track them as well.
The online claims service can process life, disability, and critical illness insurance claims, a release said.
“This new online claims function is a simple, efficient and quick way to serve our clients and give them the best personalized experience,” said iA Financial Group senior vice-president of individual insurance and sales Pierre Vincent. “Clients now have the choice of managing their online claims themselves or being assisted by an advisor. Our goal is to serve our clients the way they want to be served.”
iA Financial’s online claims service presents the advisor, applicant or insured with a personalized questionnaire, requiring a modicum of information to file the claim. The process is said to be “simple, user-friendly, and does not require passwords or user codes.”
Once a filled questionnaire has been sent for processing, users will be sent a confirmation containing a tracking number and a link to the claim tracking page. This page allows users to track the status of the claim, check if all the required documents have been received, and exchange confidential documents securely.
“We are doing everything we can to make doing business with us uncomplicated, easy, enjoyable,” Vincent added.
