To help brokers simplify the process for insuring small businesses, Economical Insurance has launched a new version of its Vyne digital platform.
The new Vyne Commercial will allow brokers to instantly quote and bind new P&C policies for SMEs using the new SME Pathway technology powered by Acturis Group, which Economical has partnered with.
Vyne Commercial features intuitive workflows for brokers; customer-centric products and pricing; and faster service with fewer redundant touchpoints and less time waiting for answers, a company release said.
“We continue to combine our insurance industry expertise with new technologies to exceed customer expectations while building a better broker experience,” said Economical Insurance EVP of commercial insurance Fabian Richenberger.
Vyne was originally launched in 2018 for personal lines and individually rated commercial auto (IRCA).
“Vyne is much more than just its foundational technology platforms — it demonstrates our commitment to improving our offering for brokers and is creating additional value for our customers,” commented Richenberger.
“We are an established leader in Europe, providing real-time quote, bind and change capabilities across an extensive range of commercial classes of business, and we are delighted to collaborate with an innovative partner like Economical to bring this technology to the Canadian market,” said Acturis Canada CEO Gregory Toothe.
Vyne Commercial will roll out in phases over the coming months; Economical said that it is working with broker partners throughout the launch period to ensure a smooth transition and to maximize usage of the platform’s capabilities.
