Hub International Limited has acquired H.W. Hollinger (Canada) in Montreal, Quebec. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
H.W. Hollinger is an independent insurance agency that offers commercial and personal insurance. The agency specializes in commercial and industrial insurance – in particular, for the construction and real estate industries.
The acquisition of H.W. Hollinger supports Hub’s specialty practices by complementing its existing capabilities, a company release said. Following the transaction, H.W. Hollinger president Michael Hollinger and his team will join Hub Quebec.
"We are focused on increasing the breadth and depth of our services, and we are pleased to have H.W. Hollinger join Hub," said Hub Quebec president and CEO Stephen Blais. "Their experience, especially in advising clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction and real estate industries aligns well with our growth strategy in the region."
"Hub is a strong and well-respected brokerage firm with the resources, technologies and tools to help us continue to succeed," commented Michael Hollinger. "We are excited to share their dedication to efficiently and effectively providing clients with exceptional service."
Earlier this week, Hub also acquired National Home Warranty Group – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aviva Canada. National Home Warranty is one of Western Canada’s leading home warranty providers, offering new home warranty coverage to 15,000 homes and homeowners every year.
